Rumblin’ Chuck Giveaway (Hasbro)

If you have a boy on your holiday shopping list between the ages of 3 and 7, you might want to consider buying Rumblin’ Chuck from Hasbro.

As you know, I have two nephews, and I let Trent, age six, give this toy a whirl.  Most boys are satisfied with any car or truck – but this toy is very interactive, and I think it almost shocked Trent! He absolutely loved it!

Rumblin’ Chuck speaks over 50 phrases, and plays little “games” – trying to shake out the load you are filling! That was hilarious to watch – Trent was trying to load up the truck with other little toys, and the truck kept shaking them out.

And don’t forget the wheelies. Rumblin’ Chuck loves to pop wheelies, and what little boy doesn’t love that?

You can buy Rumblin’ Chuck from a host of retailers, but you can also enter to win one by leaving a comment on this post!

To enter, simply leave a comment and let us know what you think your child would love most about this toy! A winner will be drawn at random on December 14 at 9pm Eastern.

Good Luck!

Crafty Giveaway – Win A Set Of Rubbermaid Containers & A Slew Of Sharpie Pens!

The container that I decorated - full of trees & mittens!

The folks at Rubbermaid and Sharpie recently sent me a very fun and crafty package! Inside, I found a set of 15 TakeAlong containers, and a whole slew of Sharpie markers and pens!

My sister added candy canes and an elf to her container.

The containers were the perfect size for snacks and leftovers, so I took them to my sister’s on the day of our Thanksgiving celebration. I thought that letting my nephews decorate the containers with the Sharpies would be a fun way to pass the time, while we waited for dinner to cook.

My nephew's decorations included this snowman with assorted trees.

The boys oohed and awwed over the color selection – all of the holiday colors were present – from green and red all the way to gold and silver. My sister and I couldn’t help but get in on the act, too, and we decorated some containers, ourselves!

The TakeAlong containers are great – they have measuring marks on the side, are very sturdy, and the lids click in place, so you know when they are sealed tight!

Think of the possibilities! You can make some treats as holiday gifts and present them in hand-decorated containers, or you could also use them to help you stay organized in any room of the house!

Rubbermaid and Sharpie are graciously giving away a set of 15 TakeAlongs and a variety pack of markers and pens to one of my lucky readers!

To enter, simply leave a comment and let us know what you plan on doing with the TakeAlongs if you win the prize pack! Please leave your comment before 7pm Eastern on December 10.

Good Luck!
