While at BlogHer, I had the chance to try out some products from Eucerin. I will admit that I am a skin-care junkie. I have been moisturizing my skin – daily – since I was around 11. Seriously. What can I say? I knew from a young age how important it was to take care of your skin!
I tried several products, including the Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Body Lotion. This is what I use right after my shower. It has a light scent – so it does double duty. My skin is moisturized all day – and I don’t feel the need to put on another perfume. Which has been great this summer, since perfumes can become a bit overbearing in the heat.
Next, I tried the Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Hand Cream. The tops of my hands get very dry – especially around my knuckles. I mean, let’s face it. I wash my hands a zillion times a day, do dishes, etc. This lotion has helped a lot. I am really looking forward to seeing how it helps in the winter. I live in Michigan and the winters are very cold here. It’s easy for your hands to get wind burnt, etc.
Last, but not least, I tried the Everyday Protection Face Lotion SPF 30. I have very fair skin, and while I do not lay out and try to get a tan, my face is still exposed to the sun when I take walks, run errands, etc. I don’t think it’s possible to have “too much” sun protection! This lotion is very light, it doesn’t break me out – so I am betting it won’t break you out, either. Like I said – I have fair, sensitive skin.
And you may be thinking that you don’t need SPF because your make-up has it, etc. That’s not enough. Plus, there are days where you have to run out to the grocery store early in the morning before you put your make-up on. If you added up all of those days, you would be surprised at how much time you were spending – in the sun – without any SPF.

With the seasons changing I am in need of an awesome mosturizer and this sounds perfect.
I use the Eucerin Calming Creme in the winter, and the combination of using that creme and a humidifier makes winter tolerable for my skin.
I agree with Crissy, I wash lots of dishes. It would be great to try out a new hand creme. The face lotion sounds great too. I noticed as I am getting older I am getting spots on my face. Eeeek!! I would love to use something that I think would minimize them.
Kim reminded me of my great Calming Creme discovery. It was a great help to me when I tangled with biting ants in my garden. They ambushed my feet while I was yanking on a stubborn weed, leaving about 10 bites per foot. That set off an itch zone that ran well past my ankles. The Calming Creme really calmed it! I only tried it out of desperation. I sure was grateful that it worked.

I’d like to win because I have yet to find a ‘cheap’ face moisturizer that does NOT break me out. Since I was in middle school I’ve been purchasing Mary Kay moisturizer because that’s the only thing that doesn’t break me out. And Mary Kay is super super expensive so I’d love to win this and give their face moisturizer a try! And I too live in Michigan and find in the winters my hands and legs get super dry so I’d love to give their lotion a try too!
I have extremely dry skin that gets worse as the weather gets colder.
I have tried lots of lotions and the only thing that seems to help is Vaseline.

We love Eucerin in our house. My husband has very dry hands and feed from his pre-diabetic condition and it works wonders! The only thing that really works.
Eucerin is great for my rosacea. Keeps the irritation and redness at bay.

Eucerin products are the best. They do not leave your skin oily and greasy. As I have aged it is hard to find products that work on my combination skin.
I have a hypothyroid disease which causes my skin to be dry and itchy with a terrible burning senstation, especially in my hands and feet. I am hopeful this will help alleviate that.

Living in the Interior of Alaska we have both 85 degrees F in the summer and -45 degrees F in the winter and with the dryness and the extremes I use lotion all the time. I am a redhead with very fair skin and have to be especially careful. The lotion with spf30 sounded like something that I really need to get!
